About Simply Twisted Designs
Simply Twisted Designs was officially launched in early 2008. It was unofficially started in September 2007 when a friend of mine bought beads and I volunteered to create something with them. At the time, my only experience making handcrafted anything was making Dreamcatchers 12 or 13 years ago, so who knows what prompted me to volunteer, but I'm glad I did. When I started making that piece, I found that I enjoyed the creativity of it tremendously. It also stretched me in ways that my current 9-5 job did not. I started making more pieces for friends and family and officially took some orders as a business at a convention in October 2007.
SimplyTwisted-Designs.com was created so that I could take the business to the Internet and share my creations to people in the big, wide world. The name comes from all the twisting that has to be done to create elaborate wirework pieces, which forms the foundation of the majority of jewelry that I make. It is also the part of jewelry design that creatively drives me. I hope that you enjoy wearing my pieces as I did creating them.
